The Yonkers Police Department was notified of the crash around 1:06 p.m., Monday, Feb. 8, in the area of Kimball Avenue at Fox Avenue, the department said. One Injured In Overturned SUV Crash In Westchester One person was injured after losing control of his SUV and overturning the vehicle.The incident took place just before noon Tuesday at the corner of Yonkers Avenue and Kimball Avenue, in Yonkers, trapping the driver, said Yonkers Police Det. Sgt. Dean Politopoulos. Politopoulos said the male driver may have suffered a medical event of some kind before the crash. Car Slams Into Westchester Restaurant, Causing Serious Damage A driver slammed her car into Tombolino Ristorante in Yonkers, landing partially through the wall and causing serious damage. According to Yonkers Deputy Fire Chief Thomas Fitzpatrick, the incident took place around 12:45 p.m. Tuesday as the woman was leaving the adjacent bank parking lot.  There were no injuries, and the Kimball Avenue restaurant is still expected to be able to open in time for its busy Mother's Day.
