After a long investigation, a 29-year-old man has been charged in connection with an armed robbery at a Westchester residence, police announced.
Brandon Scerri, age 29, who is currently homeless with a last known address in Dobbs Ferry, was arrested on Wednesday, June 26 in connection with a burglary that happened in Hastings-on-Hudson on Saturday, May 11, according to Hastings-on-Hudson Police Chief David Dosin.

Man Accused Of Burglarizing Northern Westchester Home, Injuring Victim
A 34-year-old man is accused of burglarizing a Northern Westchester home and injuring the person who lived there.
Police responded at about 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 29, to a report of a domestic incident that had occurred on Friday, May 27, at a Yorktown residence, according to the Yorktown Police Department.
When officers arrived, they were told that a man, identified as Jervonie Gray, of Ossining, had entered the victim's home unlawfully, injured the victim, and damaged property, police said.
Gray was already in custody in the City of Yonkers on unrelated charges, police said.

Man Shot During Westchester Burglary, Police Say
An alleged burglar was shot in the hand while attempting to rob a basement apartment in New Rochelle on Monday morning, police said.
The New Rochelle Police Department received a report shortly after 12:45 a.m. on Monday, July 2, of a robbery at a Main Street apartment, and that one of the suspects involved had suffered a gunshot wound.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers found the 21-year-old tenant, along with three others, including one of the suspects, Darius Rogers, who was bleeding from his hand stemming from the gunshot wound.
