Residence Goes Up In Flames In Hudson Valley A Hudson Valley residence was damaged in a blaze that took crews hours to put out.  The blaze happened in Putnam County on Monday, April 16 around 2:40 a.m., when a residence in Brewster on Dingle Ridge Road went up in flames, according to the Lake Carmel Fire Department. Responding fire crews from Lake Carmel, Brewster, Carmel, Croton Falls, and the Putnam County Fire Investigation Team were able to get the blaze under control after around two hours, firefighters said.
