Man Charged With DWI After Attempting To Leave Scene Of Multi-Car Route 35 Crash An allegedly drunk driver attempted to leave the scene of an accident after being involved in a three-car crash near Route 35 in Northern Westchester, police said. Members of the Yorktown Police Department were dispatched to Route 35 shortly after 1:30 a.m. on Nov. 4, where there was a reported crash between Broad Street and Evergreen Street.  Upon arrival, officers stated that the initial investigation determined that three vehicles were involved, two of which sustained heavy damage.
