Road Closure Alert: Paving Project Underway In New Castle This story has been updated. A busy Northern Westchester road will be closed for an extended period, prompting delays in the area. The New Castle Police Department issued an alert warning that Roaring Brook Road will be closed between Bedford Road and Horace Greeley High School in New Castle on Thursday, Aug. 29.
