A serious single-vehicle crash that initially closed the right and center lanes of I-287 in White Plains caused delays during the evening commute.
The eastbound crash took place around 4:26 p.m., Wednesday, April 17, when a car overturned in White Plains near mile marker 5.1, with possible entrapment, state police said.
Both the right and center lane are closed, causing a massive traffic backup, they added.
The exit ramp to White Plains was also closed. The extent of any injuries was not known.
