New York State Police investigators are seeking the public’s assistance as they attempt to locate a man who removed and damaged flags in Dutchess County days before the Fourth of July.
Investigators have released surveillance photos of a suspect who removed flags posted around Millbrook and caused damaged to several flagpoles during the overnight hours of July 2.
In the photo, the man can be seen wearing dark shorts a white shirt and headphones.
Anyone who recognizes him or who has information regarding the stolen flags or damaged flagpoles has been asked to contact the New York State Bureau of Criminal Investigation in Poughkeepsie by calling (845) 677-7379 or the Village of Millbrook Police Department by calling (845) 677-8200.
