A busy roadway in Northern Westchester was closed late Sunday afternoon due to fire department activity at an adjacent cul de sac.

Whippoorwill Road in Chappaqua was closed in the area of Sutton Farm Drive starting around 4 p.m. after a house fire broke out on Sutton Farm Drive.

The fire was controlled by 5:30 p.m.
