Looking for summer fun in Pleasantville? Look no further than the seven parks in town which offer a wide variety of recreation.
Nannahagan Park on Lake Street has a playground, walking trail, basketball courts and a fishing pond available to all residents.
Pleasantville is also the only village around to offer pool access for free with a valid town I.D. card. It costs $10 for a new card and $25 for a family to receive town I.D. The pool, attached to Nannahagan Park, opened May 28 for Memorial Day weekend and will open weekends until mid-June.
Pleasantville also offers Parkway/Farrows Field, which provides, baseball, softball, soccer, lacrosse and football fields to play on with your friend.
Roselle Park, on Roselle Ave., has a playground, baseball and soccer fields as well as a basketball court.
Soldiers & Sailors Park on Manville Road and Clark Street offers a playground and baseball, softball, soccer, football and lacrosse fields.
The Pleasantville Tennis Courts, located on Route 117, and the Pleasantville/New Castle Skate Park, adjacent to the Chappaqua Train Station parking lot, are always available during the warm weather months.
