THORNWOOD, N.Y. - Mary Agnes Conroy Hughes, a longtime resident of Thornwood, died Feb. 20 at Westchester County Medical Center surrounded by family. She was 95.
Born and raised in White Plains, she was the daughter of Delia Agnes and John Conroy. A devoted wife and mother, she was married to the late James A. Hughes.
Surviving are her daughters Patricia (John) Hubertus and Kathleen (George) Nestler, her son James (Eva) Hughes, her brother Richard (Sharon) Conroy and six grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday at Beecher Funeral Home in Pleasantville. The funeral mass will take place ay Holy Innocents Church in Pleasantville at 10 a.m. on Saturday. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in White Plains.
