Caregivers Conference Comes To Valhalla On Saturday

VALHALLA, N.Y. – Actors Beth and Nick Wyman will be the keynote speakers at the Annual Caregivers Conference Saturday, Nov. 2 at the Mount Pleasant Community Center.

Admission is free for the conference, which begins at 10 a.m. There is free admission and on-site parking.

The conference will address the emotional and physical challenges caregivers face in caring for people of all ages. The Wymans will discuss their experience caring for their son and Beth’s mother. Nick is the president of the Actors’ Equity Association.

Guests will also learn about the Livable Communities Initative, Livable Communities Caregiver Coaching Program, Livable Communities Care Circles of Westchester, Step Forward & Give program and the Livable Communities Caregiver Collaborative.

Caregivers will be able to have free one-on-one consultations with elder law attorneys, geriatric care managers and social workers.

The conference is sponsored by the Westchester County Department of Senior Programs and Services, the Livable Communities Collaborative and the Westchester Public/Private Partnership for Aging Services.
