Person Killed After Being Hit By Car In Westchester Authorities are investigating after a 58-year-old was fatally struck by a vehicle at a Northern Westchester intersection.  The incident happened in Yorktown on Wednesday, Oct. 18 just before 7 a.m., when a pedestrian was hit in the area of Old Yorktown Road and Strang Boulevard, Yorktown Police announced.  Shortly after the crash, Yorktown Police officers as well as crews from Empress EMS, the Lake Mohegan Volunteer Ambulance Corp, and the Lake Mohegan Fire Department raced to the scene. Woman Killed In Three-Car Westchester Crash Police in Northern Westchester are investigating a three-vehicle crash in which a local woman was killed. The crash took place around 6:05 p.m., Monday, Dec. 28 on Route 202 (Crompond Road) in Yorktown, just west of Garden Lane. The driver of one of the vehicles involved in the crash, a 70-year-old woman from Mohegan Lake died at the scene, said Yorktown Police Lt. John Delulio. Another driver was transported to Westchester Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, while the third driver refused medical attention at the scene, Delulio said. First responders were dispatched to a stretch of Red Mill Road shortly after 7 a.m. on Monday, April 22 in Cortlandt, where there was a report of the head-on crash with injuries to several parties.
