Westport Moving Scam Suspect Extradited To Connecticut From New York
A lengthy investigation led to the arrest of a man that allegedly orchestrated an elaborate scheme to scam someone moving from Westport to California, who has been extradited to Connecticut to face charges. The Westport Police Department received a report on Aug. 16 last year from a resident in California who had contracted with a moving company in Brooklyn to move her possessions from her former Westport residence to her new home on the west coast.
