The blaze began in Peekskill on Friday, March 22 just before 2:30 p.m., when a fire alarm was set off at the Crossroads Apartments at 1109 Brown St., according to the City of Peekskill Fire Department. A middle and high school in Westchester were evacuated and searched by authorities after a teacher was emailed a bomb threat, officials announced. A fire led to the evacuation of a Westchester apartment building, authorities announced. The three-alarm blaze broke out shortly before 5 a.m. in New Rochelle on Monday, Aug. 16 on North Avenue and The Boulevard, prompting an evacuation as crews went to work battling the blaze.
