Man Caught With Two Kilos Of Cocaine Hidden In Lucky Charms Boxes, NY State Police Say
A 23-year-old man faces felony charges after two Lucky Charms boxes stuffed with blocks of cocaine were found inside his vehicle by New York State Police.
According to troopers, probable cause was established to search the vehicle of Jahn Rentas, of Worcester, Massachusetts, and its occupants after he was pulled over on Interstate 90 in the area of Verona, New York, near Utica, at approximately 1:45 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24.
Police said that 4.5 pounds of cocaine were uncovered.

An 22-year-old Northern Westchester man with a suspended license is facing charges after he was caught with ecstasy in Putnam, according to the Putnam Sheriff.
Members of the Putnam Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Enforcement Unit (NEU) say they observed a driver commit a traffic violation in the Town of Putnam Valley on Thursday, July 11.
Further investigation revealed that the driver, identified as Paul Andrew Smith, of Ossining, and the passenger, identified as Michelle Rush, 20, of Penfield, were in possession of marijuana, according to NEU members.

Man Caught With Two Loaded Handguns In Mamaroneck Faces Felony Charge
A 51-year-old man caught with two loaded handguns during a traffic stop landed behind bars in Westchester.
Jeffrey J. Colburn, of Port Orange, Fla., was arrested around 3:15 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 5 when New York State police stopped to help a disabled vehicle on I-95 in the village of Mamaroneck, said Trooper Michael P. Cassella.
While speaking with Colburn, the trooper found probable cause to search the vehicle and its occupants, he added.
