Three Kings Day Celebrated In New Rochelle NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- New Rochelle celebrated Three Kings Day at Habitat for Humanity Restore on Sunday. Three Kings Day is celebrated throughout Latin America, Spain, and in Hispanic communities of the United States on Jan. 6. This marks the twelfth day after Christmas, when the Magi arrived bearing gifts for baby Jesus. Fox Meadow Students Earn Healthcare Provider Credential YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- The halls of Fox Meadow School are a little safer now that several students have completed training in CPR and AED by the American Heart Association. Brewster Students' Portraits Of Pets Benefit Wounded Warrior Project BREWSTER, N.Y. -- It started as just a regular art project, but when eighth-grade Brewster students began getting frequent compliments on their pet portraits, their art teacher and her fellow teachers had an idea. Henry H. Wells Middle School art teacher, Irene Othmer had the idea to donate a portion of the portrait sales to the Wounded Warrior Project. Twelve students were selected to each draw two portraits over a two-week period in December. More than 20 teachers requested pet portraits, which allowed the students to donate $350 from the portrait sales for the Wounded Warrior Project. …
