Con Ed Installs Service for New Mamaroneck Restaurant

MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- Con Edison began work Tuesday to provide power and electric to the restaurant filling the vacant Mamaroneck Train Station building.

The restaurant, Club Car, installed its own service line, which Con Edison will connect their service to. Tuesday, Persico, contracted by Con Edison, began excavating a section of the train station parking lot along Mamaroneck Avenue, and could be done as soon as Friday, according to one worker at the scene.

Brian MacMenamin, the executive chef for Club Car, told The Daily Mamaroneck that the only thing left to do before he can open is to get power. He hopes to open his doors by mid-February.
