New Update: ID Released Of Woman Found Dead By River In Westchester The identity of a woman who was found dead by the banks of a river in Westchester has been released by authorities.  A woman identified as 28-year-old Nicosha Gayle of the Bronx was found on the banks of the Bronx River in Yonkers on Monday morning, May 1 a little after 10 a.m., according to Westchester County Police Public Information Officer Kieran O'Leary. Body Pulled From Hudson River Off Westchester The remains of a man were recovered from the Hudson River after a boater reported observing a body floating in the river. The body was discovered around 2:50 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 2,  after county police were notified that the boater had seen the body off the coast of Irvington, said Westchester County Police Spokesman Kieran O'Leary. The Westchester County Police Marine Unit responded, located the body and brought his remains aboard a Marine Unit patrol boat.
