Man Charged In Violent Assaults Of Mother Of His Son In Stamford An undocumented Haitian man is behind bars for several brutal assaults on his girlfriend after she attempted to break up with him. Waking Noel, 34, of Seaton Road, Stamford, is being held in lieu of a $100,000 after he was charged with assaulting the mother of his two-year-old child in February, said Sgt. Jennifer Lynch. Man, 20, Accused of Strangling, Beating Girlfriend In Stamford A Stamford man who beat, strangled and harassed his girlfriend for months is behind bars following an investigation by the Stamford Police Department. Brian Gonzalez, 20, of Willowbrook Avenue, was arrested Jan. 30 after the woman managed to escape from Gonzalez and sought help from the Domestic Violence Counseling Center, said Stamford Police Sgt.
