The incident took place around 10 a.m. Wednesday when the truck tipped over and landed on the corner of the Lakeside Drive house that was recently purchased by new owners, North Salem Police Lt. Andrew Brown said. "They were lucky the home wasn't crushed," Brown said. The truck from Osorio Tree Service apparently tipped while doing tree work and landed on the edge of the house. Road Closures Scheduled For Bedford Several roadways in Bedford will be temporarily closed on Tuesday as crews begin a tree removal project in the area. The Bedford Police Department issued an alert, cautioning motorists that beginning at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 2, there will be a series of closures in the area. Chestnut Ridge Road will be closed between Lake Ridge Road and Cole Drive; Mustatio Road will be closed and Cherry Street will be shut down between Woodfield and Roosevelt Drive. The closures are expected to last a few hours. Delays can be expected in the area during the tree removal.

Man, 39, Electrocuted While Removing Tree Leaves Behind Wife, Two Children A 39-year-old man who was electrocuted while removing a tree after hitting a live power line earlier this week leaves behind a wife and two children. John B. Nuzzolo, of Newburgh, died Monday around 9:17 a.m.while removing the tree at 29 Maple Road, in Cornwall-on-Hudson. He was an employee of the MTA, and the Long Island Railroad, and was a former member of Local 38. Nuzzolo is survived by his wife Syndi and his two children Aryanna and John. He was predeceased by his parents John and Bernice. Visitation will be held at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, on Friday, Sept, 7, from 2 p.m. …
