Man Rams Car, Threatens Driver In Westchester, Police Say
A Hudson Valley man is behind bars after allegedly ramming the rear of a vehicle and threatening the driver with an edged weapon following a road rage incident.
The incident took place in Westchester County around 2:25 p.m., Friday, July 21 on I-87 in the city of Yonkers.
According to Trooper Tara McCormick, an investigation determined that Ruben D. Luciano, age 48, of the village of Florida, in Orange County, rear-ended a vehicle following a road rage incident, in which he reportedly exited his vehicle and threatened the other driver with an edged weapon.

Hudson Valley Woman Hit With 31 Tickets After Fleeing Attempted Traffic Stop, Police Say
A Hudson Valley woman who allegedly refused to stop for state police was issued 31 traffic tickets including one for driving impaired.
The incident took place in Orange County in the hamlet of Deerpark, around 11:50 p.m. on Sunday, July 31.
According to state police, troopers spotted a 2020 Ford Mustang traveling on Peenpack Trail in Huguenot, in violation of several traffic laws, said Trooper Steven Nevel.
When troopers attempted to stop the vehicle, the driver, later identified as Orange County resident Brittaney Brush, age 29, of Huguenot, failed to stop, Nevel said.

Westchester County Man Charged With DUI Following Crash, State Police Say
A Northern Westchester man was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence after losing control of his vehicle and hitting an embankment.
Christopher Sweeting, age unavailable, of Yorktown, was arrested around 11 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 15 in Cortlandt, following the crash on Bear Mountain Bridge Road, said. Trooper AJ Hicks.
According to Hicks, Sweeting was traveling across the Bear Mountain Bridge Road when he crossed the center line and hit an embankment near Route 9.
Sweeting, who was injured, was transported to Westchester Medical Center, he added.

Man Nabbed After Taking Police On Chase, Crashing Vehicle in Lewisboro
New York State Police nabbed a man for fleeing from police following an attempted traffic stop on I-684 in Northern Westchester.
Ady Casiano, 32, of Brooklyn, was arrested on Thursday, Dec. 3, after troopers from the Somers barracks attempted to stop Casiano on I-684 in Lewisboro, said Trooper AJ Hicks.
Instead of stopping, Casiano fled southbound getting off onto the Saw Mill River Parkway. State Police patrols, however, terminated the pursuit due to the reckless operation of the suspect, Hicks said.

Driver Flees State Police During Traffic Stop, Crashes, Busted With Drugs
A driver who took police on a chase on I-87 following a traffic stop in Westchester ended up crashing the vehicle and was allegedly caught with drugs.
The incident took place around 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 14 in the Village of Ardsley, when State Police attempted to stop a vehicle driven by Cory L. Lee, 41, of Woodbridge, Virginia on I-87 for traffic violations said Trooper Tara L. McCormick.

Man Who Drove On Sidewalk In Northern Westchester Had Suspended License, Police Say
A 39-year-old man was busted on numerous traffic violations after he allegedly drove on a sidewalk.
Abror Sharobiddinov, of Brooklyn, was arrested by Yorktown Police on Monday, Feb. 3, after he was stopped on Route 6 for having a suspended registration, said Yorktown Police.
During a registration check, police found that Sharobiddinov's driver's license was also suspended for an insurance lapse and that he had been driving on a sidewalk, police said.
He was charged with driving with a suspended license, driving with a suspended registration, and driving on a sidewalk.
