Residents Become Dizzy After Opening 'Suspicious' Package In Hudson Valley Police are investigating after two people fell ill after opening a suspicious package. The incident took place in Rockland County around 11:20 p.m., Sunday, March 21. Suffern Police responded with the Suffern Fire Department and Ramapo Valley Ambulance Corps to Parkside Drive for a call of two residents experiencing dizziness after opening a suspicious package, said Suffern Police. Stamford Road Closed, Homes Evacuated For Suspicious Package Stamford police are evacuating homes near Woodway Road in Springdale due to the discovery of a suspicious package in the area, according to Stamford Police. The department's bomb squad and bomb-sniffing dogs are on scene to check-out the package and the area, police added. The roads closed include Woodway and Highview Avenue and Woodway at Hope Street.
