A suspect was taken into custody in connection with a fight near a Westchester high school that left a girl hospitalized. The incident happened on Thursday, Nov. 21 at around 5 p.m., when a young girl was found with a cut to her hand in Yonkers near the intersection of Warburton Avenue and John F. Suspect On Loose After 40-Year-Old Westchester Man Shot, Killed: Report
Authorities are searching for whoever fatally shot a 40-year-old man from Westchester, according to reports. The shooting happened in the Bronx on Wednesday, Oct. 2 around 1:45 p.m. at the intersection of East 198th Street and Pond Place, according to a report by ABC7. The outlet said that 40-year-old Yonkers resident Kavon Reid was shot in the back in front of a senior home. Police are investigating an early morning vehicle theft that took place on a quiet residential street in Westchester. The theft happened on Thursday morning, Sept. 19 on the 100 block of Corlies Avenue in the Village of Pelham, according to the village's police department. Authorities are warning residents to lock their cars after electronics and cash were stolen from several vehicles in multiple Hudson Valley neighborhoods.
