ID Released For Teen Killed In I-84 Crash A teenager who was killed in a fiery crash on I-84 has been identified. Danbury resident Liam Declan Devine, 17, was driving west on I-84 shortly before 10:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 17 near Exit 9 in Newtown when he lost control of his vehicle, Connecticut State Police said. Devine traveled through the grass out of control, over an embankment and into a tree. When Devine struck the tree, his vehicle became fully engulfed in flames. Andrew Nachstein Of Mamaroneck Dies At 36; Avid Collector, Reader, History Buff Andrew Nachstein of Mamaroneck died on Wednesday, Oct. 16 after a courageous battle with lung cancer. He was 36.  He was born on April 13, 1983, to Richard Nachstein and Adelina Portal. He was a graduate of Mamaroneck High School Class of 2002 and went on to attend college at Westchester Community College.  He worked as a plumber with UA Local 21 Plumbers & Steamfitters and was most proud of his fraternal brotherhood.  Recently, he began a collection of pins and stickers that he would trade with other members of the union throughout the country.  He had a genuine l…

Services Scheduled For Popular Westchester Restaurant Owner, 65 Memorial services have been announced for John Ambrose, who died unexpectedly on Monday, Sept. 16, at the age of 65, one week shy of his 66th birthday. Ambrose, who was born in the Bronx, was known throughout the area as a Westchester restauranteur for more than 40 years. He owned and operated the Crab Shanty restaurant, Seaside Johnnie's and most recently, the Pier Restaurant and Tiki Bar in Rye. "He will forever be remembered for his warm smile, quick wit and tropical Tiki attire of colorful shorts, Tommy Bahama shirts and a wide collection of hats," his obituary said. He is survived by …
