Police: Mom Under Influence Resists Arrest While Picking Up Child At School A Hudson Valley mom was arrested after attempting to pick up her child from a Fairfield County school while drunk.  Wilton Police arrested Jolene Matthews, 41, of Monroe in Orange County, after receiving a call from the Goddard School for a report of an intoxicated parent attempting to pick-up their 4-year-old child, said Lt. Robert Kluk.  According to Kluk, after workers would not release the child to Matthews she left the area driving south on Kristine Lilly Way in a black VW Jetta. Car Break-In Spree Under Investigation In North Wilton Wilton police are asking for help in identifying two people caught on video attempting to burglarize cars in several different areas of town.The car burglaries took place Thursday night and early Friday on Ambler Lane, Briardale Place, Crosswicks Ridge, Hurlbutt Street, McFadden Drive, Old Danbury Road, Pimpewaug Road, School Road, Winton Terrace and Skunk Lane, police said.
