A 50-year-old Hudson Valley man who was killed in a head-on crash when police say another vehicle attempted to pass two cars, was a popular life coach and event planner in the area.
Dutchess County resident Erin T. Clancy, of Stanford, was killed around 5:50 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 7, in Pleasant Valley, said New York State Police Trooper AJ Hicks.

Police have identified a person killed during a head-on crash in the Hudson Valley.
Erin T. Clancy, a 50-year-old man, was killed in Dutchess County around 5:50 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 7, in Pleasant Valley, said New York State Police Trooper AJ Hicks.

Hudson Valley Woman Who Was Skilled Paralegal, Mother Of 3 Dies At Age 59
A Hudson Valley woman who worked as a paralegal for decades and who was a mother of three has died at the age of 59.
Deborah Jeanne Butts Tomanocy, of Pleasant Valley, died at home on Saturday, July 23, according to her obituary.
Butts Tomanocy was born in Poughkeepsie, and her family showed their cows with 4H at the Dutchess County Fair for many years.
She was also crowned the Dutchess County Dairy Princess in 1980, her obituary said.

Police have identified three people hospitalized in a wrong-way, head-on crash that caused the closure of a stretch of the Taconic State Parkway this week.
It happened on the southbound side around 8:15 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4 in Pleasant Valley just south of Exit 54 (Route 44).
