Woman Charged In Connection To Fatal Hudson Valley Crash A 41-year-old woman has been charged with felony manslaughter and other charges in the death of a man killed when she crossed into the wrong lane on a busy Hudson Valley roadway. The crash happened in Rockland County Saturday, Jan. 28 around 10 a.m. in the town of Ramapo at the intersection of Airmont Road and Route 59. The crash took place in Rockland County around 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 28 on Airmont Road and Route 59 in Ramapo. 29-Year-Old Killed In Crash On Merritt Parkway In Stamford State Police are searching for witnesses to a fiery crash that killed a 29-year-old Fairfield County man in a three-car collision on the Merritt Parkway. Man Driving Drunk With Kids In Car Crashes Into Cruiser In Hudson Valley, Police Say A state police cruiser was hit by an alleged drunk driver with kids in his car as officers were arresting a woman for DWI. The incident took place in Rockland County around  5:20 a.m., Sunday, Sept. 25 on the Palisades Parkway in the town of Stony Point. According to Trooper Steven Nevel, troopers were stopped behind a vehicle on the Palisades Parkway. Nissan Recalling Nearly 800K Vehicles Due To Potential Fire Risk Nissan has announced a recall of nearly 800,000 SUVs in the US and Canada that may have a defective part that could pose as a potential fire risk. The recall, which was caused by a defective dash side harness that can lead to a fire in “rare cases” includes 793,000 Nissan Rogue models produced between 2014 and 2016. According to Nissan officials, approximately “0.01 percent” of the vehicles included in the recall actually have the defective part.
