2024 Valedictorian, Salutatorian Announced By Northern Westchester High School Two high-achieving seniors at a Northern Westchester high school are being recognized for landing at the top of their class.  In an announcement on Wednesday, June 12, Byram Hills High School revealed its valedictorian and salutatorian for the class of 2024 are Grace Lin and Daniel Ndocaj, respectively.  The school's administration and faculty celebrated both students' accomplishments. The Harvard Corporation, which oversees the university, said on Wednesday, Dec. 20 that Gay would request three corrections to her 1997 Ph.D. dissertation, the Harvard Crimson reported. Yale Murder Suspect Nabbed In Alabama United States Marshals have arrested a man believed to be responsible for the February shooting death of a Yale grad student in Connecticut.  Qinxuan Pan, age 29, an MIT researcher, was arrested on Friday, May 14, in Montgomery, Alabama, US Marshals said. They did not say where in Montgomery he was found.  Pan is the prime suspect in the shooting death of Kevin Jiang, age 26, who was shot to death on Lawrence Street between Nicoll and Nash streets in New Haven on Saturday, Feb. 6. Sol Krongelb, Developed Innovative Technology At IBM, Longtime Member of Yorktown Jewish Center Sol Krongelb died on Monday, Nov. 11, surrounded by his family, following a brief illness. Sol was born on Aug. 15, 1932 in Jersey City, New Jersey, to Benjamin and Anna Bloom Krongelb.  In 1953, Sol married his high school sweetheart, Gladys Anne Steinfeld. Sol and Gladys moved to Cambridge, MA, where they both pursued advanced degrees. In 1959, the couple built a home in Somers, and there they raised their three children. Sol and Gladys enjoyed many activities and interests together until Gladys’ passing in 2004. Sol earned a B.S. in engineering physics from NYU in 1953 and a Ph.D.…

Edwin Arthur Rosenberg, Professor Emeritus in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science died Saturday, May 25 in Natick, Mass. He was 94. Rosenberg lived in Ridgefield, Redding and Danbury, and most recently was a resident of Whitney Place in Natick, Massachusetts. Born Sept. 4, 1924, Rosenberg was a meteorologist during World War II. He married Carol Eichberg Corn in 1946, graduated from MIT in 1947, then earned an MBA from NYU and a master's in teaching at Columbi…
