4 Nabbed For DWI In Hudson Valley: Wrong-Way Driving, Mailbox Damage Among Offenses, Police Say Four people, including Westchester and Fairfield County residents, face various charges after they were caught driving while intoxicated in the Hudson Valley, police said. The arrests all happened in Putnam County over both Saturday, Aug. 19, and Sunday, Aug. 20, the Putnam County Sheriff's Office announced on Tuesday, Aug. 22.  The following people were arrested, according to sheriff's deputies:  Fairfield County resident Michael F. Missing Northern Westchester Man Located In Brewster With Help Of New Technology With the help of new technology, authorities were able to find a missing man within a matter of hours. The incident began around 5:41 a.m., Friday, Nov. 1, when the Mount Pleasant Police Department reported a missing elderly male who had not been heard from since 1 p.m. the previous day.  The Mount Pleasant Police immediately broadcasted over the Westchester County Hotline information about the missing man and the vehicle he was driving.  The WCPD entered the man's vehicle information into all databases in the event that his vehicle hit any location in Westchester County. Woman Driving Without Lights On In Area Faces DWI Charge, Sheriff Says A Fairfield County woman was busted by Putnam County Sheriff's deputies for DWI after they spotted her driving without lights.  Mary K. Villaverde, 63, of Brookfield was arrested around 2:20 a.m., Saturday, March 24, when Deputy Sheriff Joseph Sadowski observed a car on Main Street in the Village of Brewster without any lights on and crossing into the oncoming lane of traffic, the department said. Man Arrested For Urinating In Broad Daylight On Main Street In Brewster A 54-year-old Brewster resident is facing charges for urinating in broad daylight on Main Street in the village, the Putnam County Sheriff's Office said. Deputy Sheriff Christopher Tompkins, on routine patrol on Main Street observed Heminio Carranza-Vasquez urinating on the sidewalk on Feb. 18 at about 5 p.m. As Deputy Tompkins approached, Carranza-Vasquez turned while still urinating in plain view of passing motorists and pedestrians, the sheriff's office said.
