A Danbury deputy fire chief helped save the life of a person suffering a medical crisis on a flight from Las Vegas. The incident took place around 5:30 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 14, when Deputy Chief Bill Lounsbury was off duty on a flight from Las Vegas when he was altered that medical personnel was needed for a patient having an anaphylactic reaction.  He told the flight crew that he was an advanced EMT, said Danbury Fire Communications Coordinator James Gagliardo.
