Fairfield County Man Nabbed For Using False Name, Other Traffic Violations, Police Say A Fairfield County man was arrested for allegedly providing a false name when he was pulled over for a traffic violation and for resisting arrest. Thomas Willoughby, age 54, of Norwalk, was arrested on Monday, March 29, by New Canaan Police on a warrant for the incident which took place in September, said Lieutenant Jason Ferraro of the New Canaan Police. Stamford Teen, Two Minors Caught Hiding After Stealing From Vehicles In New Canaan, Police Say Three teenagers attempted to hide from investigators in Fairfield County after being busted stealing from parked vehicles, police said. Officers from the New Canaan Police Department responded to the intersection of Richmond Hill Road and Weed Street at approximately 11 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15, where there were reports of suspects rummaging through parked vehicles. Police said that officers located the first suspect, Stamford resident Kaymani Robinson, 19, hiding under a parked car in an Ash Tree Lane driveway.  Robinson, who is on probation, was taken into custody without incident…

Man Charged With Interfering With Officers Conducting Investigation In New Canaan A 67-year-old man has been charged after interfering with officers conducting an investigation during an incident in New Canaan, police said. It happened on Thursday, Aug. 29 just before 8 p.m. when police were dispatched to Deep Valley Road for a report of youths riding ATVs on the street. Officers who arrived at the scene talked to Robert Avery about the youths riding the ATVs and enduro-style motorcycles on the street and private lane near his residence, according to New Canaan Police.
