Support Rises For Family Rebuilding After Lewisboro House Fire
A community in Northern Westchester is coming together to support a couple and their young children who are now working to rebuild their lives after a fire devastated their home. The effort comes following a blaze on Thursday, Dec. 14 that severely damaged a Lewisboro residence belonging to Alison and Marc Biddle and their two young children, Georgi and Nico. House Destroyed After Massive Fire Breaks Out In Hudson Valley
Several fire departments battled a Hudson Valley house fire that destroyed the large home while having to bring in water due to the lack of fire hydrants. The fire took place in Dutchess County in Rhinebeck on Kipp Road around 11:30 p.m., Saturday, May 21. According to the Rhinebeck Fire Department, first arriving firefighters from both Hillside and Rhinebeck found the 2,000-square-foot house fully engulfed in flames. House Fire Breaks Out In Area
One firefighter was hospitalized battling an overnight fire that broke out in an area home, officials announced. First responders in Putnam County from the Mahopac Falls Volunteer Fire Department and Carmel Police Department responded to a Secor Road home at approximately 9:15 p.m. on Wednesday, June 16, where there was a report of a deck on fire with an elderly resident possibly inside the home. Dog Dies After House Fire Breaks Out In Area
A dog died after being caught in a house fire that broke out in the Hudson Valley. Crews in Putnam County from the Mahopac Falls Fire Department responded to the blaze early on Sunday, Aug. 30 when smoke was seen coming out of a house on Lake Shore Drive in the Lake Secor neighborhood. At the time the fire broke out, neighbors said that the home was unoccupied, except for a dog who was inside the residence. One person was killed and another severely injured after a house fire broke out in Danbury. The blaze began just after midnight on Sunday, May 10 at 29 Ninth Avenue across from the Western Connecticut State University midtown campus, said Danbury Fire Department Public Information Officer James Gagliardo. Firefighters From Northern Westchester Assist In Battling Stamford Blaze
Fires broke out in two homes within a few miles of each other overnight in Fairfield County with one resulting in an injured resident. The first of the blazes began around 1:18 a.m., Tuesday, May 5, when neighbors called 9-1-1 reporting a large fire in the area of Blackwood Lane in the Turn of River area of Stamford.
