Uber Driver Arrested For Sexually Assaulting Passenger, Stamford Police Say A former Uber driver has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman he picked up outside a Stamford bar. Awad Nour, 38, of Bridgeport, was arrested on Tuesday,  July 16, for the incident which allegedly took place on February 9, said Stamford Police Capt. Richard Conklin. According to police, the Darien woman, who reportedly had been drinking, called an Uber to take her home after being out with friends in Stamford, police said. Crash Involving Reckless Driver Sends Five To Stamford Hospital A Stamford man was charged with causing an accident that sent five people to the hospital, according to the Stamford Police. The crash occurred around 7 p.m. Sunday when Kadeem Sadio, 28, was speeding southbound on Hope Street when he slammed into a vehicle pulling out of Donut Delight, said Sgt. Kenneth Jarrett. Man Exposes Himself To Librarian In Stamford, Police Say Police are on the lookout for a man who exposed himself to a librarian after asking to apply for a library card. The incident took place around 12:30 p.m. Thursday at the Weed Memorial Library on Hope Street in Wingdale, said Stamford Police Sgt. Brian Butler. According to Bulter, the man, described as being a black male in his mid-30s, with a medium build and short hair and facial stubble, walked up to the check-out desk and asked to apply for a library card.
