Nypd Officer From Westchester Killed During Hand-To-Hand Struggle With Armed Suspect An NYPD officer from Westchester was fatally shot in a hand-to-hand struggle with an armed suspect overnight. It happened just after 12:30 Sunday, Sept. 29 at the Edenwald Houses in the Bronx. The officer, Brian Mulkeen, was 33 and lived in Yorktown Heights with his girlfriend, who is also a police officer in the Bronx in the 44th precinct. Police officers were patrolling the area the incident occurred due to gang activity including recent shootings, the NYPD said. New Canaan Police Chief Leon Krolikowski said the department received complaints on Sunday, May 5, that a 2017 Jeep Wrangler was stolen from the driveway of a residence on Barnegat Road, and that a 2016 Jeep Cherokee was stolen from the driveway of a residence on upper Elm Street.  Both stolen vehicles were unlocked and the key fobs were inside both vehicles, Krolikowski said. Over the last several weeks, investigators with the Gang Unit developed information on the whereabouts of Rahkim "Flee" Shealy, and on Thursday night, Yonkers Police detectives placed him into custody without incident at a location on Orchard Place. Westchester Grocery Store Raided By FBI The FBI raided a Westchester grocery store on Thursday as part of an investigation into gang and drug activity. Members of the FBI were spotted entering the Supermercado Mexico supermarket on Union Avenue in New Rochelle at approximately 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 11. According to reports, agents were seen taking boxes of evidence from the location and arrests have been made.
