61-Year-Old Man Dies After Hitting 'Roadkill,' Crashing In Northern Westchester A 61-year-old Hudson Valley man was killed after his vehicle left the roadway. The accident took place in Northern Westchester County around 6:30 p.m., Sunday, June 11 on Dogwood Road in Cortlandt. According to New York State Police Trooper Steven Nevel, the unidentified man from Putnam Valley was driving a 1998 Harley Davidson motorcycle when he crashed. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Troopers responded to Dogwood Road in the town of Cortlandt for a reported neighbor dispute on Saturday, Jan. 12. Investigation by the troopers discovered the suspect, Anthony W. Perez of Yonkers, arrived at the residence, engaged in a domestic dispute with the current resident, and engaged in a dispute with separate victim outside, state police said. Man Accused Of Firing Shots From Rifle In Northern Westchester DIspute Behind Bars A 38-year-old man accused of firing shots from a rifle during a dispute in Northern Westchester has been apprehended and is behind bars. The incident took place around 9:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 5 at Dogwood Road in Cortlandt, where police responded to a report of shots fired. State Police, Westchester County Police and Peekskill Police officers all responded. An investigation determined that John J.
