A missing Connecticut man who disappeared while trail hiking has been found dead.
Fairfield County resident Jack Gordon, age 57, had last been seen in his hometown of Ridgefield on Sunday, Dec. 3 was located deceased
Gordon had left home to go hiking in the Bennetts Farm Trail System area in Ridgefield,.
After 18 hours of searching the area on foot and with drones, K-9 dogs, and air support, he was located, said Capt. Jeff Raines, of the Ridgefield Police.

An out-of-state man was busted for allegedly pretending to be a dentist and operating a dental clinic out of a hotel in Fairfield County.
Hugo Moraes-DeLima, age 41, of Boca Raton, Florida, was busted in Danbury on Sunday, April 16, at the La Quinta Hotel.
According to Erin Henry, a spokesperson for the Danbury Police, officers responded to the hotel located at 116 Newtown Road on Sunday, April 16, for reports of an occupant practicing dental work.

A 13-year-old Connecticut boy suffered serious head and face injuries after a man forced his way into a home.
The incident took place in Fairfield County around 10:45 a.m., Friday, March 11, at a residence on Wildman Street in Danbury.
When police arrived on the scene, the youth told officers that a white man forced his way in after answering his front door, pointed a gun at him, and demanded money, said Det. Lt. Mark Williams, of the Danbury Police.

14-Year-Old Turns Himself In After Shooting At Danbury Mall
A 14-year-old Fairfield County boy has turned himself in to police as being the shooter at an area mall that left a teenage girl shot in the chest.
The shooting took place around 7 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 11, near the entrance to Macy's at Danbury Fair Mall during a confrontation between two groups of teens, authorities said.
One person, described as a tall, thin male with dreadlocks who may be in his early teens, took out a gun and fired a single shot, which struck the teenager, Danbury Police Chief Patrick Ridenhour said.
