Elk Homes' 15 Parkview Avenue in Bronxville is now seeking tenants, the rental developer announced on Wednesday, March 27. The new 80,000-square-foot building, which is the first upscale rental development in Bronxville and the neighborhood of Garrett Park in decades, offers 60 "meticulously designed and spacious apartments," according to the developer. Larceny Suspect Drives Wrong Way After Chase In Westchester, Crashes: Police
Authorities are searching for a man who was allegedly involved in a larceny in Westchester and escaped detection after driving the wrong way on Interstate 87 and crashing into another car, police said. The incident happened on Wednesday night, Sept. 13, and started when Yonkers Police began investigating a larceny in a neighboring jurisdiction and found the male suspect in the Cross County Shopping Center, according to Yonkers Police Detective Sergeant Frank DiDomizio. Sticky's Finger Joint has opened at the Cross County Center in Yonkers, the shopping center announced on Thursday, Sept. 1. An accused Peeping Tom is facing a host of charges for allegedly recording videos of women in dressing rooms when he worked at a clothing store in Westchester. Bronx resident Heriberto Polanco, 27, was charged in a 48-count indictment for recording videos of unsuspecting customers while he was still employed at Forever 21 in the Cross County Shopping Center in Yonkers. Specifically, Polanco was charged with 24 counts each of unlawful surveillance by using or installing an imaging device for amusement or profit and using an imaging device for no legitimate purposes. Sergeant Accused Of Stealing Clothes From Macy's In Westchester
An off-duty NYPD sergeant was nabbed for allegedly stealing more than $300 worth of merchandise from Macy's in Westchester. Sgt. Eva Pena, 41, was arrested at 8:11 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 3 at the store at the Cross County Shopping Center in Yonkers, based on a complaint from Macy's loss prevention officer, said Yonkers Det. Sgt. Dean Politopoulos. According to Politopoulos, Pena was allegedly caught attempting to leave the store with approximately $359 of unpaid merchandise in her purse.
