The unidentified woman was found in Dutchess County around 10 a.m., Monday, April 10 near the Mid-Hudson Bridge and the city of Poughkeepsie. Sheriff's deputies responded to the area after receiving a report of a possible body in the river near the Mid-Hudson Bridge, said Capt. John Watterson, of the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office. Five People Rescued, One Missing In Hudson River Click here for an updated story: ID Released For Man Who Went Missing In Hudson River A search is underway for a person missing in the Hudson River, according to the City of Poughkeepsie Fire Department. The incident which began around 12:45 p.m. Tuesday, involves six people who were reported having problems in the water near the pier by the Rip Van Winkle apartments.  Five people have been transported to an area hospital.
