Purses, Laptops Stolen From Vehicles At Trail Parking Lot In Northern Westchester Authorities in Northern Westchester are investigating several car break-ins that happened at a trailway parking lot.  The incidents happened on Wednesday, Feb. 7 between 4 and 4:30 p.m. in Yorktown at the North County Trailway parking lot on Route 118, according to Yorktown Police. Police Search For Suspect After Larcenies From Vehicles In Northern Westchester Police in the Hudson Valley are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect accused in a series of car break-ins in Northern Westchester. Multiple vehicles were broken into early on Friday, July 15, in Yorktown, in the Shrub Oak and Mohegan Lake areas, according to Yorktown Police. New Warning Issued After More Car Break-Ins Reported In Ridgefield Police in Ridgefield are cautioning local residents to be sure their car doors are locked and valuables removed following newly reported incidents of car break-ins. The Ridgefield Police Department issued an alert to residents following multiple reports of money being stolen from parked cars that have been cropping up in recent weeks, including an incident where a credit card and hundreds of dollars were stolen from several cars on Old Sib Road driveways last month.
