Man, Woman Injured After Being Hit By Car In Crash Involving Pound Ridge 22-Year-Old Two people were injured after being struck by a vehicle at a busy Fairfield County intersection in a crash involving a Hudson Valley man. The incident took place in Stamford around 11:20 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 14 at the intersection of Bedford Street and Broad Street. According to Sgt. Jeffrey Booth, of the Stamford Police, responding officers found two pedestrians, a man, and a woman lying on the ground injured. Three Drunk Drivers Nabbed In One Night In Stamford, Police Say Stamford Police had a busy night Friday arresting three driving for operating under the influence within six hours, including two at the same location.The action began around 9:45 p.m. when working with the OUI team, Capt. Diedrich Hoh and Officer Damien Rosa arrested Jorge Eyssen, 57, for driving on the wrong side of the road on West Main Street,  Hohn said.  Once stopped, Hohn said Eyssen "reeked of alcohol" and failed all the field sobriety test, and once at headquarters, he refused to take additional tests.
