Harrison vs. Rye: Will You Be There?

HARRISON, N.Y. - The time has come for the Harrison Huskies. The heated rivalry match against Rye on Saturday afternoon has become a heavy talking point in Harrison and we're asking our readers why this match is important to them.

As Main Street Connect sports columnist Joe Lombardi wrote last month, "You'd be hard-pressed to make a case for any other game as being the top annual rivalry in Westchester than this one." This year is particularly important to Harrison sports fans because it's the Huskies' chance to break Rye's eight-game winning streak against them.

Kickoff is set for 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Harrison High School's McGillicuddy Stadium, but the festivities will be starting long before that. Where will you be Saturday morning? How will you be celebrating the decades-old rivalry?

Will you be tailgating in Harrison? Where?

The Daily Harrison knows there is so much more to the game than the statistics and we're asking our readers to show us the big players behind the scenes as the Huskies prepare to take on Rye this weekend.
