HARRISON, N.Y. -- Stuck in a rut with weight gain and lacking motivation to stop it, Cari turned to Pat Hall and her Harrison business, Can’t Lose Diet, in a desperate, and perhaps final, appeal for help.
Cari, who requested not to use her last name, heard Hall’s promise about losing 20 pounds in 40 days. “I wondered, ‘Is this real,’’’ Cari said. “Then I looked at the website and watched the video so I booked a consultation with Pat and got started right away. I lost 33 pounds in 43 days.”
“The diet has given me a whole new insight on how to do things,’’ Cari said. “Like I don’t eat the same protein two meals in a row. It sounds silly, but it really does work. Also what’s different about this diet is that Pat limits each fat-burning weight loss phase to 40 days which is just enough. Cari has just completed her first maintenance period for three weeks which reset her weight point, and has now started her second fat-burning phase where she has lost another six pounds in eight days. Her goal is to lose another 80 pounds.
An additional benefit is that her blood pressure medication was dramatically reduced throughout the fat-burning period, and completely eliminated at her last visit to a doctor
Cari tried different diet programs. “Diets like Weight Watchers don’t tell you what to eat,’’ Cari said. “They leave it to you with an outline. You really have to figure it out on your own. When Cari started the program, her Body Mass Index was 41.4. The Federal government guideline for a healthy BMI is 24 or less. She is now down to 35.6.
