A city in Westchester has unveiled plans to redevelop its downtown with new shopping, dining, and entertainment, and create a new district.
In an announcement on Wednesday, Oct. 16, New Rochelle officials detailed its new Downtown Retail Strategy, which aims to create more bustling streets, job opportunities, and increased visitation to the city.

Nicolas De La Pava, a football standout at the high school and collegiate levels who went on to start his own business in Northern Westchester, died on Tuesday, Aug. 7 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was 23.
