Greenburgh Town Board Receives Update On Reassessment

GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- On Tuesday, the Greenburgh Town Board discussed the reassessment process taking place around town with town assessor Edye McCarthy.

The Town Board work session was held on Jan. 12, and outlined residents' reassessment policy.

According to Town Supervisor Paul Feiner, residents will receive preliminary information in March about their taxes from the reassessment company. After residents receive the letter in the mail, they have the option to do nothing if they agree with the results or schedule a meeting to challenge their findings.

"The Assessor and I are more than happy to meet with civic associations and residents to discuss in greater detail," said Feiner.
