Greenburgh Health Center Invites Westchester To Health Fair

GREENBURGH, N.Y. – The Greenburgh Health Center will host this year’s free 13th Annual Community Health Fair in collaboration with The African American Men of Westchester.

The fair will be held on Aug. 16 from 10 a.m to 3 p.m., and will include health screenings for blood pressure, height, weight, pregnancy, glucose, HIV, vision, emergency contraception, nutrition, prostate, breast, colorectal and cervical cancer, and family planning, all available free of charge.

Representatives from various agencies, service organizations, businesses, and service programs will be present in order to provide free information, education and literature.

The health fair, held in observance of National Health Center Week, will feature children’s rides, giveaways, free food, refreshments and live entertainment. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

The event will take place at  295 Knollwood Road, White Plains. Tours of the new Greenburgh Health Center facility will be available for the public.
