It has been recently reported that two of Lance's records 'First Peace' and 'Rollin Man', which debuted in 1971 and 1972 are being re-released as part of a 'Real Gone Music' record label, the Hudson Independent reports. According to the label's website, the goal of Real Gone is "dedicated to serving both the collector community and the casual music fan with a robust release schedule combining big-name artists with esoteric cult favorites." In short, they hope to help music fans rediscover, savor, and celebrate a wide array of forgotten or underrepresented artists.
"I have known Bobby for many years" says Greenburgh Town Supervisor Paul Feiner. "He’s modest, extremely talented and goes the extra distance to inspire students to love music. The Greenburgh School district is very lucky to have a world class musician on their staff and even luckier to have on their faculty a teacher who can help guide up and coming musicians to greatness."
In addition to his two re-releases, Lance wrote the hit song 'The House That Jack Built', which later became Aretha Franklin’s 1968 hit.
