Greenburgh Students Show Artistic Side At Town Hall

GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- Thanks to a class of middle schoolers, the Greenburgh Town Hall lunchroom is a brighter and more cheerful place.

Students from Bailey School are honored by the Greenburgh Town Board in a ceremony earlier this month. The student's artwork is displayed in the building's cafeteria.

The town welcomed Claire Cronin, an arts teacher at the Bailey Middle School in Greenburgh and her students to paint beautiful scenes on the windows of the Greenburgh Town Hall cafeteria. "The students had a fabulous experience and enhanced the look of our Town Hall cafeteria," Town Supervisor Paul Feiner said. "Our employees love the works of art and so do town hall visitors."

The Town Board was so impressed that it honored each of the students and the Bailey school team at its most recent Town Board meeting. Feiner confirms that the students will be back to paint another beautiful work this spring.
