2-Car Crash Injures 1, Closes Part Of Route 6N In Mahopac A two-vehicle crash in the Hudson Valley sent one person to the hospital and caused a brief closure on a busy roadway. The incident happened in Putnam County on Wednesday, April 17 just before 10 a.m., when two cars collided on Route 6N in Mahopac near Parker Drive, according to the Mahopac Falls Volunteer Fire Department.  Arriving first responders soon closed Route 6N at the nearest intersections and tended to the drivers' injuries. One driver was taken to Hudson Valley Hospital while the other refused medical attention.

The Greene County incident happened at around 8:45 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 16, in Coxsackie at the Peppertree Apartments. According to sheriff’s officials, a 66-year-old New Baltimore man was using a pickup truck to plow snow in the building’s parking lot when he struck a woman while backing up. The crash took place around 6 p.m., Tuesday, July 27, on I-287 westbound in White Plains when the trooper was sitting in traffic and was rear-ended by another vehicle, said Trooper Tara McCormick. The vehicle received minor damage.  The trooper was treated for minor neck and back pain, McCormick said.  No other injuries were reported.
