Man Nabbed For DWI, Nine Tickets, After Driving Over 100 MPH On Palisades Parkway, Police Say A local man was issued nine tickets and charged with DWI after attempting to elude state police who were trying to pull him over for allegedly driving at speeds more than 100 mph. Rockland County resident Baruch Ungar, age 26, of Monsey, was arrested around 11:50 p.m., Sunday, March 14 in Clarkstown, following a pursuit on Palisades Parkway, said Trooper Steven Nevel. Dutchess Resident Charged With DWI In State Police Stop New York State Police troopers removed three dozen motorists from area roadways for alleged impaired driving over the weekend. Among those charged in the Hudson Valley include:  Orange County On Friday, Sept. 13, State Police in Hamptonburg arrested Edwin Seda, 42 of Newburgh, for DWI. He was traveling on Washington Street in the city of Newburgh when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation.
