A woman died from injuries sustained after being struck by an SUV being operated by a Hudson Valley resident in the parking lot of a ShopRite in northern New Jersey on Labor Day, sources tell Daily Voice. The incident happened in Bergen County in the parking lot of the Route 4 supermarket just after 1 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 4. New York State Police reported that racing motorcycles in Westchester County led to the death of one motorcyclist. The crash took place at 1 a.m., Friday, Aug. 13 after state police responded to a report of motorcycles racing on I-87 northbound, in the city of Yonkers, said Trooper Tara McCormick. Toys 'R' Us May Close Another 200 Stores, Report Says
Less than a month after announcing it planned to close 182 outlets, another 200 Toys 'R' Us stores may also be closing, according to a report in The Wall Street Journal on Thursday. The total of near 400 closures would be 45 percent of the toy retailer's total number of stores.
